Process Engineer

Description

. Support the NPI Product Transfer and ensure the intended specification are achieved and maintained in the Production environment . Develop new or improve existing Processes for the assembly to achieve a reasonable sustainable yield in Production . Design and Qualify Tooling / Fixtures necessary to support the Product Build . Introduce new technology that enhances the manufacturing capability in the Assembly Department . Conduct Process FMEA to identify and eliminate potential risks to manufacturing processes as well as to carry out Process Capability studies to ensure that the manufacturing processes are in a reasonable control state . Review of Technical Data packs of new Product Variants for RFQ purposes and In-House Manufacturing Feasibility assessment . Provide Technical recommendations or carry out evaluations that is in line with customers' enquiries . Introduce value-added services such as product design improvement recommendations or involvement in troubleshooting activities at higher level system integration at the customer's end . To support the Planning Team to review a realistic build schedule for the assembly operation of existing products . Co-ordinate work activities with the various cross-functional stakeholders and ensure the build plan is in control . Maintain the Assembly Process Sheet (APS) that provides Work Instructions for Production to carry out the build of the Assembly . To provide accurate routing details in accordance to the developed qualified processes in the APS . Create the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for critical processes that are used in the Assembly Production . To review and enhance the existing Process methodologies to improve the manufacturing KPIs such as Process Yield, Scrap performance and Productivity . Special projects and other duties as assigned

Exigences

- Degree in Mechatronics, Diploma holders can be considered if individual has an extensive portfolio of the achievement - Min 3 years' experience in NPI or Process Engineering related field. Past working experience in Semi-conductor equipment or optics related industry will be advantageous - Possess basic Engineering analytical tools such Root Cause Analysis, Gauge R&R, FMEA - Able to develop and plan effectively engineering activities in accordance to the build plan to achieve the required OTD - Proficient in MS Words / PowerPoints / Excel - Knowledge in Autocad / Solidworks - Good communication skills - Team player with positive attitude - Broad and in-depth knowledge of good manufacturing practises and industry standards
