Business Process Analyst

Job Outline: The Senior Business Process Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and assessing existing accounting and operational processes. To develop process improvements through driving incremental efficiency and more robust financial controls. Providing efficient and effective support to the business, the role will work closely with our Accounting, FP&A, Operations and Technical teams to support process and system improvements that will enable the finance function to scale and facilitate the business to achieve its desired objectives. Key Responsibilities: The main duties with this position will include: . Document and evaluate existing business processes, business rules and standard operating procedures . Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, identify gaps and reconcile conflicts . Work with business owners/user and business system analysts (applications group) to define requirements for new systems, system enhancements and other projects . Manage communication between business and technical teams . Support internal audit's evaluation of control environment and assist with testing and remediation


Personnel Specification: Ideally candidates will have a good level of understanding of business processes and their interconnectivity, excellent numeracy and analysis skills along with demonstrable customer service focus, a methodical approach, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role will require you to operate in a fast, dynamic environment and operate to tight deadlines. Ideally candidates will have substantial knowledge of project life cycles, and proven working knowledge of project methodologies e.g Business Process Modelling, Flow Charting. Any additional experience including use of a production control system / ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) System or would also be advantageous. The successful applicant will be motivated, responsive and focussed with a high level of attention to detail while working independently with a flexible approach. In addition to partnering with the local team, the role requires interaction with interdisciplinary teams in USA. It is essential that candidates have the following: . Teamwork-focused/collaborative work style . 5+ years of experience with process analysis, system implementations and project management . Understanding of general business operations, accounting concepts/theory and internal controls . Professional with sound judgement and interpersonal skills who has the ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision . Effective written and verbal skills interacting cross-functionally and with various levels of management . Strong technical aptitude for learning new systems and processes with the ability to solve complex problems Candidates may also have experience of: . Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, Hyperion Finance Management, Data Warehouses (eg: Business Objects); . Manufacturing businesses and quality management systems, such as AS9100 . US GAAP and reporting in multiple currencies.
