POSITION OVERVIEW: Accelerating growth has generated an opportunity within our corporate operations finance team. Using a wide array of systems and analytical tools you will be responsible for providing insightful management reports to senior operations and finance business partners. You will take proactive steps to distill financial and operational data in an effort to explain deviations in KPIs. Additionally, you will develop creative solutions to complex business problems and leverage data visualization tools to report relevant information contained within datasets. You will partner with the finance, advanced manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to drive operational improvement projects. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: . Acts as an internal advisor by providing financial consultation and decision-support to business partners as needed; supports business in understanding state of finances and tactical / corrective actions required to achieve objectives . Adds value through understanding the needs of the business and partnering with stakeholders to develop the go-forward strategy; proactively identifies opportunities that drive financial results . Seeks out cost savings opportunities and develop models that help improve the bottom line. . Monitors process effectiveness and efficiency against goals and objectives, taking corrective action as necessary; proactively identifies, implements, and drives continuous process improvements, simplification and change . Conducts financial data mining and value-based business analysis to positively influence business decisions. Develops new tools and visualizations to help highlight trends and deviations. . Provides routine reporting and analysis of financial and operational metrics . Assists with the integration of newly acquired businesses . Supports operations in the annual budgeting and strategic planning process . Supports cost savings initiatives by developing relevant analytics, validating sources of savings, and providing updates to cross functional teams


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: . This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) such as State Department controlled products. All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. . 5 + years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should have a strong background in analyzing data related to operations and finance. By way of example, candidates with previous experience in supply chain, business analysis, financial analysis, budgeting, or cost accounting would be considered. . Bachelor's / Master's degree in a business or technical field (such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or Science). . Candidate must get points across clearly, with straightforward language, both verbally and in writing, considers the needs and interests of others and incorporates information relevant to them in communications; readily grasps the main points in communications from others . Excellent understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools. . Experience extracting and manipulating large data sets from data warehouse or data lake applications. Candidate should have prior experience with Tableu and Alteryx, MS Power BI, or other data analysis tools. . Perfer candidates that have previous experience with SAP and Hyperion. .
