Sr Corporate Accountant

. Complete monthly financial statement close and reporting for HQ (Corporate) and purchase accounting entities.
. Prepare and record standard and non-routine journal entries and ensure the accuracy of information through monthly analysis and reconciliation. Determine adjustments required and prepare journal entries for related account activity. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or reconciling items.
. Prepare and maintain schedules, such as external/internal loans, interests and foreign currency valuation, capital/operation lease schedule and evaluation.
. Review/prepare intercompany transactions, netting process, and reconciliation.
. Assist with monthly consolidation review, such as roll forward, fixed assets transfer, intercompany elimination, etc.
. Process cash entries not related to accounts payable disbursement.
. Review accounts payable transactions, fixed assets, and prepaid schedules.
. Assist in the completion of annual financial statement audit of the Company's consolidated results/position.
. Perform other duties as required to support the Finance Department.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
. Bachelor of Science in Accounting
. M.S. or MBA in Accounting or CPA designation (*)
. Knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
. 3-5 years in corporate accounting and supervisory experience
. Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, QuickBooks
. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work closely with and as part of the corporate team
. Capable of critical thinking and problem solving
. Attention to detail and accuracy
. Strong written and oral communication skills
. Must be able to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
. Self-motivated and directed
