Work closely with the Sr. Manager of Technical Accounting to review significant contracts and non-routine transactions (i.e. acquisition accounting, goodwill and long-lived asset impairment analysis) . Research accounting guidance for non-routine transactions and new accounting standards . Draft technical accounting memoranda regarding the accounting discussions and conclusions that support management's positions and compliance with GAAP . Assist with the quarterly review of significant account balances and maintain evidence of review, including resolution of open items . Assist with the Company's assessment of leases for implementation of ASC 842 . Perform ad hoc financial analyses or projects as required


Qualifications/Required Experience . B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting or related field . 4 to 6 years of experience in public accounting or combination of industry and public accounting experience . Knowledge of US GAAP with experience relevant to certain accounting topics including revenue recognition, pensions, debt, and business combinations . Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to discuss technical accounting positions, applicable policies, GAAP requirements, accounting processes, and controls . Understanding of internal controls . Capable of critical thinking and problem solving . Able to stay organized and work efficiently to maximize productivity . Team player with strong inter-personal skills to interact with others in the global accounting and finance organization . Highly motivated with a desire to grow long-term with the Company Desired Experience . CPA or Equivalent . Experience in a public or private global, matrix organization a plus
